I believe where change is wanted, it can be found.
Each person has their own unique set of life experiences that that form the way in which they view the world around them and how they view themselves.

I strive to understand each of my client's unique personal stories so that I can tailor a treatment plan to fit their specific needs to create the change they seek. For this reason I utilize a variety of techniques from the following modalities in my therapeutic approach: Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and the Pathways Kaleidoscope Model.

I understand that faith also greatly impacts a person's lifestyle; therefore, if desired I can implement a spiritual component to the treatment process.

Much of my experience has been working with adolescents and adults coping with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also enjoy assisting families with matters concerning divorce and custodial arrangements. I am knowledgeable in 12-step programs and work with many adults who have suffered from a loved one struggling with addiction.

My Training Experience

I have been an Individual and Family Therapist and Intake Assessor with Pathways Transition Programs since May of 2009.

Prior to joining Pathways Transition Programs, I worked with children and adolescents at a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility in Atlanta, Georgia to help provide stabilization services so that they could comfortably return to the community.

I earned a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Georgia in 2009, and my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University in 2003.

My Client Focus

Adolescents/Teenagers (14-19) and Adults.

My Category Specialties

Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Divorce, and Family Members of those who struggle with addiction.
