1. Keep things simple. You don't have to commit to everything you're asked to do by family and friends. It's okay to say "no" and not offer an explanation. We often over-complicate things that quickly lead to burnout. Let's leave that in the past and focus on keeping things simple in 2022. 2. Be present- focus on being in the moment. We all struggle with living in the moment, especially when it comes to technology. Strive to set aside some time to unplug on a daily basis. Switch your focus from your cell phone, tablet, or computer when surrounded by people you love. It will make a huge difference, give it a try. 3. Get some fresh air... often. Being outside can provide you with peace of mind. Stepping away from your regular routine to go on a brisk walk or just soak up the sunshine can help your overall well-being. Make going outside a habit, to help you feel better physically and emotionally. 4. Quit being so hard on yourself. You are doing the best you can! Live in the moment and take pride in what you are doing and try not to focus on things your can't control. Life is about balance and it's easier said than done, but do what's best for you.
